I first met Hannah's mom at a WNHS Football game. I graduated from Westerville North High School myself, so I love working with teens from that school and being there to support the students. This year I did an athletic sponsorship so I could contribute in a bigger way. ANYWAY, I met Hannah and her mom there and immediately knew I wanted to work with her.
Fall Pictures
One of the things we talked about from the beginning was that she wanted to do her senior photography session in the Fall. There were some areas that were sentimental to their family in Westerville, so we considered those, but in the end chose Inniswood. This is one of my favorite places to photograph in the Fall - so many trees and so many options!
Although this Fall was not as colorful as usual, we still found plenty to work with. I chose specific areas based on the trees I knew I could put in the background to enhance the Fall look. She chose several outfits that looked perfect with the colors in nature.
A Senior Experience for the Whole Family
One of my favorite things about Hannah's session was that her whole family joined in the fun! At first I wasn't sure how it would go having that many people there... some teens can be a little nervous when everyone is watching them. Not in this family! They laughed and joked and cheered her on all the way through. I'm hoping it was a wonderful memory made for all of them! I admired the relationship between Hannah and her brother. He helped to get some fun reactions out of her during her session! While some would simply roll their eyes, she embraced it (ok, there may have been some eye rolling but only in good fun!).
Hannah is super athletic so she had to wear her Westerville North letter jacket for a few! She a member of the swim team and runs cross country and track and has a lot to be proud of! But I think my favorite thing about working with Hannah is her joyous and warm smile! She is incredibly sweet and kind and I think that came through in the photos. Her whole family was just so amazing and supportive of each other (#goals), too! Congratulations, Hannah!
