German Village in Columbus, Ohio is a great spot for high school senior photography sessions! We love the brick and iron fences in a setting that contains an urban park full of arts and community events. The unique architectural features and characteristics of the buildings in this area make it the perfect spot for senior pictures!
Senior Pictures on Brick Sidewalks in Columbus, Ohio
Alexis started her session walking down some these brick sidewalks, stopping to pose every few minutes at a new spot. She rocked ALL of the poses and it was honestly hard to decide on favorites from this session! Thankfully that was her job, not mine! I always love a black dress for senior photos and this was no exception. It was a perfect style for this setting!
I try to make a point to get at least one great headshot in each outfit and this is one of my favorites from the day! Her joyful smile and bright eyes are everything in this close-up!
I am loving the brick sidewalks of German Village in the above senior picture of Alexis. The way they have such character along the brick homes lining the street near Schiller Park. It's a fun and unique area for photos. The railing up the steps to the home in the background provides extra interest in this Columbus, Ohio photo.
Casual Senior Pictures in German Village in Columbus Ohio
A quick outfit change for some variety was up next! The urban vibe comes through with the car-lined streets and street signs in the background. This pedestrian-friendly neighborhood in Columbus has such a fun feeling for high school senior portraits! A pose like below helped to show off the unique pattern on the brick sidewalks.
We walked through Schiller Park and ended up over here by this fence with brick homes in the background and more brick sidewalk at our feet. I love the greenery of the bushes behind her and how they contrast with the brick of the buildings.
And of course, a headshot to round out this outfit! There were so many different colors of walls and features to use for senior pictures in German Village. Part of creating the best senior portrait experience in Columbus is looking for unique spots to feature photos of our seniors. This venue isn't what we see everyday out in the suburbs!
Schiller Park in German Village for Senior Pictures
We were so close to the park that we had to stop by for a few photos. Her white shirt with jeans was perfect for the floral backdrop near the park entrance. Ohio summers do have plenty of flowers, so we had to at least capture them in a few photos!
Then it was back to a brick wall backdrop for senior photos to end our time in German Village in Columbus before heading downtown.
Alexis was incredibly photogenic and I'm so glad she chose the unique brick backdrops of German Village for her high school senior portraits. Alexis, I hope you have the best end of your school year at Westerville North High School!
