Raeann came to us from Olentangy Orange High School in Lewis Center, Ohio. As a senior, there is so much to look forward to, but senior pictures are a major highlight. This past Fall the leaves turned earlier than usual but we knew exactly where to go to make the most of the colorful foliage that was left in Central Ohio for her senior portrait session!
Sharon Woods Senior Pictures of Olentangy Orange Student
In my opinion, I think Sharon Woods is one of the most underrated and underutilized locations for senior photos in Central Ohio. (Shhhhh! I will keep it as a hidden gem, I guess!) In seriousness, the yellow treeline in the woods is especially stunning as the golden hour sun sets behind them. I knew immediately during our outfit planning that she needed to wear this top here for at least a few to fit the Fall vibe we were going for!
A little criss cross applesauce is one of my favorite fun and playful poses, and again the colors of the leaves and her shirt were awesome together!
Fall Senior Pictures in a Field
There is no way we could do senior pictures at Sharon Woods without ending up in a field for at least a few! We actually did this twice during her session in different fields. It’s a unique seasonal look that not everyone in Lewis Center gets! With Olentangy Orange being so close to Westerville, Sharon Woods is a top pick for me if a senior wants this look.
Fall Senior Photos in a Dress
This dress was a GREAT choice for her senior portraits. The way the water looked in the background helped to create a stunning image of Raeann! We then had her move just a bit to the other side of the path so we could get that tree line from the woods in the back.
One cool thing about dresses is the ability to add jackets and cardigans or flannels and completely change the look of the outfit without completely changing clothes! Here this Olentangy Orange senior put on a denim jacket for what might have been my favorite set from the session. The golden yellow field in front of and behind her complimented what she was wearing so well.
Seriously the vibrance of nature in the Fall gives me allllll the heart eyes! So grateful for these options (and a little extra editing!) when Raeann wanted Fall.
This was actually only half of Raeann’s session! We also spent some time together uptown in Westerville. With both locations being in great proximity to Lewis Center, they are wonderful options for senior pictures for seniors that attend any of the Olentangy schools. Fall sessions with peak color do book early, so keep that in mind as you are determining when you will schedule senior portraits for your own senior. Summer is another wonderful option for fields as we usually have some flowers during that time that photograph beautifully. If you are looking to create images that you and your senior will love, let’s talk!
