These Olentangy Berlin High School twins chose one of the last warm days for their senior portraits before the cooler Fall weather moved in. It's amazing how much more windy and rainy it is in the Fall than the Summer, and I am so thrilled it worked out to do their session while the weather was still great!
Olentangy Berlin Twin Senior Portraits at the Park
We started this session with Kyle and Collin at a large park in Westerville. This location is ideal for senior portraits due to the variety of locations and backgrounds available for photos. I always enjoy when we have siblings join for senior pictures, but it is extra special when those siblings are BOTH seniors! Having twin seniors is so exciting because they get to share in this milestone experience together!
I photograph a lot of twins and really enjoy documenting their relationship. Sometimes they split up after high school with both attending colleges away from home. Or one staying nearby and the other moving to a school further away. Jobs and life are to come in the days ahead, but for now, they are here together and I want to make sure to get that!
Individual Senior Portraits of Twins
As much as I love to photograph sibling pictures of twins, I believe the individuality of each twin should be captured as well. I make sure to take plenty of images of each twin alone to get their smile, personality, and style. Sometimes twins will each do their own custom album after the session, and sometimes a parent will combine the two into one book. Either way they choose to do it, it's great to have individual photos during twin senior portraits.
Twin Senior Portraits in downtown Columbus
After taking some photos in nature, we moved downtown for an urban look with the skyline. The sun set quickly and we were able to see the downtown buildings lit up! One of my favorite outfits that guys wear is a hoodie and jeans! There is something perfectly casual about it that makes me (and them!) smile!
